Description

Victron Orion XS 1400 DC-DC charger – DC-DC converter for charging while driving

The Victron Orion XS 1400 DC-DC charger is a DC-DC converter from Victron Energy that charges the service battery from the vehicle's alternator while driving. It also works in vehicles with a smart alternator, where the voltage varies.

Advantages

  • Works with smart alternator: Charges even in vehicles with Euro 6 engines, where the alternator voltage varies.
  • Input voltage 9-35 V: Operates stably even when the starter battery voltage fluctuates.
  • Output voltage 10-35 V: Precise charging voltage for the selected battery type.
  • Up to 98.5% efficiency: Less heat loss and more energy for the battery.

Application

  • Charging service battery from the alternator while driving.
  • Campervans and commercial vehicles with Euro 6 engines and smart alternators.
  • Boats with separate starter and service batteries.
