Terms and Conditions / Terms of Service (LithiumPro)

Welcome to LithiumPro. These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to purchases from and use of lithiumpro.dk (the “Webshop”).
By using the webshop and/or completing a purchase, you accept these terms as well as our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Customers (B2C and B2B)

LithiumPro sells to both private consumers (B2C) and business customers (B2B).

Please note: As a general rule, the right of withdrawal only applies to consumers, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Ordering

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. An agreement only becomes binding when you receive an order confirmation from LithiumPro.

We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of obvious errors (e.g. pricing errors, stock errors or technical errors), and in that case we will contact you as soon as possible.

4. Prices and payment

All prices in the webshop are stated in DKK and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

We offer the following payment methods:

MobilePay
Apple Pay
Google Pay
Klarna
Bank transfer
Payment card

As a general rule, payment is taken when your order is dispatched. For pre-orders, custom-made products or items with longer delivery times, payment may be taken when you place your order.

5. Delivery

Normal delivery time is 2–4 working days.
During periods of high demand, or if production is temporarily unable to keep up with demand, delivery may take longer.

We ship with PostNord or GLS, and you will always receive Track & Trace once your order has been dispatched.

Delivery outside Denmark

For deliveries to countries outside Denmark, Delivered at Place (DAP) is used. There are no customs duties within the EU. If we deliver to a country outside the EU, you are responsible for paying any import VAT, customs duties and fees charged by the carrier on delivery.

6. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us in writing within the deadline at info@lithiumpro.dk.

You must return the item no later than 14 days after notifying us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase. You may use the standard withdrawal form on the page about the right of withdrawal, but this is not a requirement.

Lithium batteries are dangerous goods. Please contact us before returning a battery, and we will tell you how it must be packed and shipped.

7. Returns and return costs

The customer pays for return shipping.
No return fee is charged.

We recommend that the item is returned with tracking, as you are responsible for the item until we receive it.

8. Condition of the item when returned

When returned, the item must be in proper condition.

You are liable for any reduction in the value of the item resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item.

If the item has been put into use, or if the item/packaging has been handled in a way that reduces the value or safety of the item, the refund may be forfeited in whole or in part.

9. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal for:

Custom-made batteries
Customised solutions

These are made to individual specifications and therefore cannot be cancelled, cf. section 18(2), no. 3, of forbrugeraftaleloven (the Danish Consumer Contracts Act). Your statutory right to claim for defects applies as normal.

10. Refunds

We will refund the amount you have paid, using the same payment method as for the purchase, no later than 14 days after we have received your notice that you are withdrawing from the purchase. We may withhold the refund until we have received the item or you have provided evidence that it has been sent.

The original delivery costs are refunded (up to a maximum of the cost of our cheapest standard delivery). Return shipping costs are not refunded.

11. Battery reservation

You can reserve a battery so that it is held for you and not sold to anyone else. If you then decide not to buy the battery, a reservation fee of DKK 500 will be charged, which is non-refundable.

The fee covers administration costs and payment handling costs, including card fees and the WEEE levy.

If LithiumPro is unable to deliver the reserved product, you will not pay any fee, and any amount paid will be refunded in full, unless otherwise agreed.

12. Warranty

LithiumPro batteries

A free 3-year warranty is provided on all LithiumPro batteries, calculated from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers defects in the battery itself – e.g. if the battery stops working or does not function as it should due to defects in the cells, the BMS or other internal electronics. In that case, we will troubleshoot and repair the battery at our expense, and in the worst case you will receive a new battery.

Extended warranty (+5 years – 8 years in total)

For all LithiumPro batteries, you can purchase an extended warranty, which extends the warranty by 5 additional years – from 3 to a total of 8 years calculated from the date of purchase.

The price is 10% of the battery price and is shown at the time of purchase.
The extended warranty must be purchased in the same order as the battery and only applies to the battery for which it was purchased.
The cover is the same as for the standard warranty: defects in the battery itself are repaired at our expense, and in the worst case you will receive a new battery.
The warranty is registered on your order and follows the battery's serial number.
If you withdraw from the purchase of the battery within the withdrawal period, the extended warranty will also be refunded.

What the warranty does not cover

The warranty – both standard and extended – does not cover damage caused by factors outside the battery itself, including:

if the battery has been dropped, struck or otherwise physically damaged
if the battery has been opened, disassembled, modified or repaired by anyone other than LithiumPro
incorrect installation, incorrect polarity or short circuit
charging with a charger or solar charge controller without a suitable LiFePO4/lithium profile or with an incorrect charging voltage
loads exceeding the stated specifications, e.g. max. discharge current
water and fire damage and other external influences
normal, age-related loss of capacity

The warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under købeloven (the Danish Sale of Goods Act), including the 24-month right to claim for defects. Warranty claims are handled as described in section 13.

Other products (third-party brands)

The warranty period follows the manufacturer's terms and may vary, e.g.:

Victron: up to 5 years
Deye inverters: up to 10 years

The applicable warranty period will be stated in the product description or in the manufacturer's warranty information.

13. Claims (faults and defects)

As a consumer, you generally have a 24-month right to claim for defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.

If your item is faulty or defective, you must contact us as soon as possible at info@lithiumpro.dk with:

order number
description of the problem
photos/video, if any

We will assess the case and offer a solution in the form of repair, replacement or refund, depending on the situation. Do not send a lithium battery until we have agreed on this. Read more under warranty and claims.

14. Damage in transit

If the parcel is visibly damaged on receipt, we recommend:

that you take photos of the packaging and the item
that you contact us as soon as possible at info@lithiumpro.dk

15. Uncollected parcels

If a parcel is not collected and is returned to us, the costs of return shipping and handling may be deducted before a refund is made.

16. Limitation of liability

LithiumPro cannot be held liable for indirect losses, operating losses or loss of profit, including in connection with delays, shipping conditions or circumstances beyond our control.

LithiumPro's liability can never exceed the amount paid for the specific item/order, unless otherwise provided by mandatory legislation.

17. How to complain

If you have a complaint about a purchase, please contact us first at info@lithiumpro.dk. If we cannot find a solution together, you can complain to Center for Klageløsning, Nævnenes Hus (the Danish complaints body), Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. You can submit your complaint via naevneneshus.dk.

18. Used batteries

LithiumPro is registered with Dansk Producentansvar (the Danish producer responsibility scheme), and we take back used LithiumPro batteries. Contact us first, and we will agree on how the battery is to be handed in or sent. Read more under used batteries and the environment.

19. Intellectual property rights

All content on lithiumpro.dk, including text, images, graphics, logo and design, belongs to LithiumPro or our partners and may not be copied or used without prior written permission.

20. Changes to the terms

LithiumPro may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available in the webshop.
