Victron Lithium LiFePO4 12.8V 100Ah Smart

Description

Victron Lithium LiFePO4 12.8V 100Ah Smart – Long-life LiFePO4 lithium battery

The Victron Lithium LiFePO4 12.8V 100Ah Smart is a LiFePO4 lithium battery from Victron Energy with a capacity of 100 Ah and a nominal voltage of 12 V. It weighs significantly less than a lead-acid battery with the same usable capacity, withstands many more cycles, and can be charged quickly. The battery must be used in conjunction with a Victron BMS.

Advantages

  • 100 Ah capacity: Real usable capacity — lithium can be deeply discharged without damaging its lifespan.
  • 12 V nominal voltage: Fits directly into a Victron system.
  • Very low weight: A LiFePO4 battery typically weighs less than half of a lead-acid battery with the same usable capacity.
  • Requires BMS: Must be used with a Victron BMS, which protects the cells against over-voltage and under-voltage.

Application

  • Motorhomes and caravans, where weight and capacity are everything.
  • Boats with high power consumption and a need for fast charging.
  • Solar power systems in holiday homes and off-grid installations.
