Victron Color Control GX WIFI Module Simple – USB WiFi dongle for GX devices

The Color Control GX WiFi Module Simple (Nano USB) is a small, affordable USB WiFi dongle that Victron has tested and supports for its GX devices. The Color Control GX has no built-in WiFi – with the module in a USB port, it connects to your wireless network and can send data to the VRM portal. The module is also supported on the Venus GX.

Benefits

  • Adds WiFi: Gives the Color Control GX a wireless internet connection without a network cable.
  • Compact: Small nano dongle that sits directly in the USB port.
  • Tested by Victron: On Victron's list of supported WiFi dongles – other dongles may work but are not supported.
  • Remote monitoring: With an internet connection, the system can be monitored in the VRM portal.

Applications

  • Color Control GX units that need to go online via WiFi.
  • GX installations where wired Ethernet is not possible.
  • If the router is far away, the Long Range module (BPP900200400) gives better reception.
