Victron GX Tank 140 – tank level interface for 4–20 mA and 0–10 V senders

The Victron GX Tank 140 is an accessory for GX devices such as the Cerbo GX that lets you connect and monitor up to four tank level senders. It supports senders with a 4–20 mA or 0–10 V output – also mixed – and connects to the GX device via USB, which also powers the unit. The tank levels can be viewed on the GX device and in the VRM portal, and the GX device can pass them on via NMEA 2000.

Benefits

Four channels: Monitor up to four tanks, e.g. fresh water, waste water and fuel.
Powered via USB: The unit itself requires no extra supply cables.
Built-in sender supply: Channels 3 and 4 supply 24 V DC (max. 20 mA per channel) to the senders.
Adjustable measuring range: The upper and lower limits can be set, so senders with a partial range (e.g. 0–5 V) can also be used.
Galvanically isolated: The USB connection is electrically isolated from the senders, so no earth loops occur.

Applications

Tank monitoring in boats and motorhomes on the GX device's screen or in VRM.
Displaying tank levels on e.g. an MFD chart plotter via NMEA 2000 from the GX device.
Controlling a tank pump via the GX device's relay.
