Victron Color Control GX WiFi Module Long Range

Description

Victron Color Control GX WIFI Module Long Range – USB WiFi module with better range

The Color Control GX WiFi Module Long Range is a Netgear AC1200 USB WiFi adapter that Victron has tested and supports for its GX devices. It has better reception than the Simple dongle and works on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. It gives the Color Control GX (which has no built-in WiFi) a wireless connection and can improve the range of the Venus GX, whose built-in WiFi only uses 2.4 GHz.

Benefits

  • Better reception: Stronger reception than the Simple module – a good choice when the router is far away.
  • Dual-band: Supports Wireless AC, G and N on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
  • Tested by Victron: On Victron's list of supported WiFi dongles.
  • Remote monitoring: With an internet connection, the system can be monitored in the VRM portal.

Applications

  • Color Control GX in a boat, motorhome or plant room with a weak WiFi signal.
  • Venus GX where the built-in WiFi does not reach far enough.
  • Networks running on 5 GHz.
